In the early morning hours of January 10, 2020, the body of 42-year-old Ludie Cochrane, a White/Caucasian male, was discovered on the back porch of a residence in the 1000 block of Reynes Street in New Orleans' Lower Ninth Ward. The New Orleans Police Department was dispatched to the scene around 2:30 a.m. and initially classified the death as 'unclassified' pending further investigation.
