On a Sunday evening in New Orleans, what began as a gathering of family turned into a scene of tragedy. On December 1, 2019, Louis Morgan, a 28-year-old man, was with his cousins in the 7th Ward. In a sudden burst of violence, gunfire erupted, striking four members of the family.
