In the late afternoon of November 16, 2019, the life of 20-year-old Denika Jacobs, an African American woman, was tragically cut short in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Around 3:50 p.m., she was discovered outside her home on Underwood Avenue with a gunshot wound.
