In a tragic turn of events on a Saturday afternoon, 32-year-old Walter Wilson lost his life in a shooting at the Gretna Park Apartments on Gretna Boulevard. On November 2, 2019, at approximately 3:20 p.m., officers responded to a call of a shooting and found Wilson, a resident of the complex, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
