In the early morning hours of Tuesday, October 15, 2019, the sense of normalcy in a North Baton Rouge neighborhood was shattered by a grim discovery. On the pavement in the 600 block of North 38th Street, a man lay motionless, the victim of apparent gunfire. The man was identified as 41-year-old Armond Green, an African American male who lived just a block away from where his life was tragically cut short.
Baton Rouge Police Homicide Detectives were summoned to the scene around 7:25 a.m.
