In the early autumn of 2019, the life of a young Shreveport man, Roderyck Young, was tragically cut short. The 21-year-old Black male was found unresponsive on the morning of Tuesday, October 1, 2019. His body was discovered in the Martin Luther King Jr. neighborhood, at the intersection of Hanna Street and Jones Mabry Road.
