In the early morning hours of July 26, 2019, a heated argument between two brothers in Church Point, Louisiana, ended in a tragic death. Joseph 'Joe' Moore, a 68-year-old male, was fatally shot in the chest inside the residence he shared with his brother. Joseph, who was confined to a wheelchair due to a prior leg amputation, was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics who responded to a call for an ambulance at the North Franques Street home around 4 a.m.
