A promising young life was tragically cut short on the evening of June 19, 2019, when 19-year-old Keyon Clark was shot and killed. The incident occurred at the Frank Lemon Playground in the Shrewsbury area of Metairie, a suburb of New Orleans, Louisiana. Clark, a former standout wide receiver for George Washington Carver High School, was at the playground with his older brother, Darrell 'D.J.' Clark, a football player for Grambling State University.
