In the late hours of a Friday evening in Lake Charles, Louisiana, the lives of two local males, Donovan Citizen and Zachary Reed, were tragically cut short. On June 14, 2019, police responded to a call and discovered a grim scene in the 1900 block of 5th Street. A vehicle had crashed, but the cause of the accident was far more sinister than a typical collision. Inside the car, both 28-year-old Donovan Citizen and 16-year-old Zachary Reed were found, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
