On May 27, 2019, 40-year-old Leah Marie Carlos was found deceased in her residence located in the 200 block of North Main Project Road in Schriever, Louisiana. A maintenance worker discovered her body. Investigators from the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and determined that Carlos had sustained at least one gunshot wound.
