On a cold February evening in Lutcher, Louisiana, the life of 22-year-old Destin Smith was tragically cut short. On February 11, 2019, deputies from the St. James Parish Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a local apartment complex following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Smith suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
