An ongoing dispute between two men in Denham Springs, Louisiana, escalated to a fatal conclusion in the early morning hours of May 9, 2018. Billy Forrest, a 42-year-old male, was shot once in the abdomen around 6 a.m. in the Eastover Estates neighborhood. He was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment but ultimately succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
