A 52-year-old male U.S. Postal Service letter carrier, Antonio Williams, was shot and killed in Shreveport, Louisiana, while on his mail delivery route on the morning of June 22, 2019. The incident occurred in the 1100 block of Dudley Drive shortly after 11:00 a.m. Williams was approaching an apartment to deliver mail when he was shot. He sustained at least one gunshot wound to his upper body and was transported to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
