In the late summer of 2017, the life of Dale Sands, a 53-year-old Allstate insurance agent, was tragically cut short in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Sands was reported missing on August 22nd, prompting concern among his family and colleagues. The search for the married father and grandfather came to a grim conclusion the following afternoon when his body was discovered in the backyard of a home on Great Smokey Avenue. An autopsy would later confirm that he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
