In the spring of 2017, the life of Ray Allen Cudges, a 42-year-old Black male from Duson, Louisiana, was tragically cut short. On the morning of Tuesday, April 25th, at approximately 9:30 a.m., an incident of gun violence unfolded in the 400 block of East Pinhook Road in Lafayette.
