Jerrid Michael Davis Jr., a 22-year-old male, was fatally shot in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on January 24, 2017. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. in the 11800 block of Old Hammond Highway. Responding officers found Davis lying in the roadway with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was transported to a local hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
