In the summer of 2016, a single act of violence cut short the life of HenryLee Varnado, a 36-year-old man, in the Algiers neighborhood of New Orleans. On the evening of July 18th, officers from the New Orleans Police Department were called to a residence on the 1300 block of Teche Street.
