In the early morning hours of December 6, 2015, in Raceland, Louisiana, a festive house party on Market Street turned into a scene of violence that claimed the life of 20-year-old Travon Folse. An African American male, Folse was caught in a spray of bullets that also left three other men wounded. He sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the abdomen and died at a local hospital.
