On a tragic Wednesday morning in Shreveport, Louisiana, the life of James Shivers, a 28-year-old Black male, was cut short. On September 9, 2015, Shivers was discovered inside a residence located in the 400 block of Abilene Street, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
