In the early morning hours of August 27, 2015, the sense of normalcy in a Baton Rouge neighborhood was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of Marlon Williams. The 21-year-old Black male was discovered lying in the 1800 block of Curtis Street around 5 a.m., having suffered from multiple gunshot wounds.
