On the evening of September 4, 2014, in Tallulah, Louisiana, a dispute over money at a local car wash tragically escalated, leading to the death of 26-year-old LaPatrick Mitchell. An African American male, Mitchell was shot and killed at the scene. The Madison Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a report of the shooting at approximately 8:32 p.m. Upon their arrival, deputies discovered Mitchell's body. He was transported to Madison Parish Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
