On a spring evening in Crowley, Louisiana, the life of 16-year-old Perry Davis III was tragically cut short. On April 5, 2014, while sitting in a car on West Seventh Street, Davis was struck by gunfire. He sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was rushed to a Lafayette hospital, where he later died.
