In the Irish Channel neighborhood of New Orleans, on a summer day in 2010, the body of Freddie Benton Osby Jr. was discovered. The 33-year-old male had been fatally shot. His bloody remains were found beside a utility pole at the corner of Fourth and Annunciation streets on Monday, June 28, 2010. When police and medical crews arrived, he was already deceased.
