On March 31, 2010, 25-year-old Monica Muse was tragically killed in a triple homicide in the Treme neighborhood of New Orleans, Louisiana. Muse was a native of the city and was among three women found deceased at the scene. The other victims were identified as her sister, Jennifer Muse, and their mother, Wanda Wagner Simpson.
