Darryl Wayne Every Jr., a 20-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 8, 2009, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred just after 6 p.m. in the backyard of a residence located in the 4600 block of Dart Street near Verdome Place. Darryl was shot multiple times and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
