Trey Michael Hutchison, a 27-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on August 11, 2004, in Bossier City, Louisiana. Officer Hutchison was responding to a 911 hang-up call from a woman who reported that her husband had pulled a gun on her. Upon arriving at the scene, Hutchison was ambushed and shot twice in the back by the suspect. The fatal rounds struck him in areas not protected by his vest.
