Jivon Terrence Cherry, a 39-year-old African American male, was found dead on September 13, 2022, in Durham, North Carolina. His body was discovered in the trunk of a car at the Falls Pointe Apartments on Glen Falls Drive. The police reported that Cherry had been shot and killed. The discovery of his body prompted a homicide investigation by the Durham Police Department.
