Gregory Lacorde Holmes, a 14-year-old African American boy, tragically lost his life on August 11, 2022, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the 3100 block of Southwest Boulevard at the Birch Townhomes complex near West Charlotte High School. Gregory was found with a gunshot wound and was immediately taken to Atrium Main by MEDIC, where he was pronounced dead.
