Lee Otis Evans Jr., an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 7, 2022, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 10:35 p.m. outside an apartment complex in the 100 block of Treetop Drive. According to the autopsy report, Evans Jr. was shot multiple times, including in the arm, torso, and twice in the chest with a .40-caliber handgun. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
