Darius Davon Moore, a 40-year-old African American male from Laurinburg, NC, tragically lost his life on March 15, 2022. The incident occurred in the early evening when Laurinburg police received a call around 6 p.m. regarding a gunshot victim in the area of Washington Street. Upon arrival, officers were informed that Moore was being transported to Scotland Memorial Hospital in a private vehicle. Despite the medical staff's efforts to save him, Moore was pronounced dead at the hospital.
