John C Boone, a 49-year-old man from High Point, North Carolina, was tragically shot and killed on January 26, 2022. Boone, who was deaf and nonverbal, was well-known and well-liked in his community. He often asked strangers for money and was known to cut grass around the neighborhood. Despite his struggles, Boone was never considered dangerous.
