Jordan Clayton, a 19-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, on February 8, 2021. The incident occurred in the 1900 block of Vernon Road just before 4 p.m. on that fateful Monday afternoon. Authorities responded to a report of a shooting and found Jordan with a gunshot wound.
