Christopher Antonio Wooten, a 37-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 3, 2019, in Greensboro, North Carolina. On that fateful day, at approximately 3:58 p.m., officers responded to reports of gunshots in the 900 block of High Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Wooten lying in the road, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Despite being rushed to the hospital in critical condition, Wooten succumbed to his injuries.
