Kelly Michael Black, a 56-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on August 5, 2018, in Roaring River, North Carolina. The incident occurred during a road rage altercation that escalated into a deadly shooting. Kelly Black was traveling with his 25-year-old son, Stephen Black, when the confrontation began on Highway 421 and continued down the off-ramp to the intersection of Red White and Blue Road.
