Devon Khamari Revelle, a 21-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on June 30, 2018, in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Devon, affectionately known as "Duke" or "Dookie," was a beloved member of his community and family. He was the son of Paulita Powers and Dexter Revelle, and he had a passion for playing the drums and supporting his favorite college team, the Duke Blue Devils.
