Dr. Devon Hoover, a 53-year-old male, was last expected to be on the road to Indiana to see his dying mother, but he never arrived, and the silence that followed sent his family into a growing panic. In Detroit, police had already brushed close to his story the night before without realizing how dark it was: officers responded on April 22, 2023 to a complaint about a white Range Rover blocking a driveway on Coyle Street.
