Demeitrus Lee Austin, a 23-year-old African American male from Raleigh, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on December 14, 2016. According to reports, Austin was shot in the 1200 block of Mangum Street in Raleigh. He was transported to WakeMed hospital by a private vehicle shortly after 3 a.m., where he succumbed to his injuries.
