Travis Malloy, a 23-year-old African American male, was tragically shot in the head while sitting in a minivan at the Walnut Woods Apartments in Raleigh, North Carolina, on the morning of September 23, 2016. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the apartment complex located on Middle Branch Road. Malloy was immediately transported to WakeMed, where he was treated for his injuries over the weekend. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away on September 26, 2016.
