Pao Yang, a 37-year-old male of Asian descent, was found dead in a vehicle at 2835 Armentrout Drive, Concord, North Carolina, around 5 a.m. on July 10, 2012. The Concord Police Department quickly identified the victim and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. Yang, who resided on Rainbow Drive in Kannapolis, was discovered with gunshot wounds, leading authorities to treat the case as a homicide.
