Jessica Leigh Johnson, a 20-year-old Caucasian woman, tragically lost her life on August 26, 2007, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her death was the result of an apparent murder-suicide outside her mother's mobile home in western Wake County. Investigators believe that the father of her 2-year-old child shot her before taking his own life. This incident left the community in shock and mourning, as Jessica was a young mother with her whole life ahead of her.
