Brandon Bass, a 20-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 3, 2005, during an attempted robbery at a Pizza Hut in Wilson, North Carolina. The incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. when three armed men entered the restaurant with the intention of robbing it.
