On July 8, 2022, 21-year-old Zemyre Abraham, a Black male, was fatally shot in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred around 1:23 a.m. when officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Stelzer Road following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Abraham inside his vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention, Abraham succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital at 2:03 a.m.
