Tyrique Lee Shields, a 24-year-old African American male from Akron, Ohio, tragically passed away on January 16, 2022. He was born on January 30, 1997, to Monica Shields-Cole and his loving fathers, Sylvester "Silk" Johnson and Sean Tanner. Tyrique was known for his infectious smile and larger-than-life laughter. He attended Perkins Middle School in Akron and Joppatown High School in Abington, Maryland. Tyrique had a heart of gold and was deeply loved by his family and friends.
