Isaiah Petty, a 23-year-old man from Columbus, OH, tragically died on October 2, 2020, after being shot outside an apartment building in the Hilltop area. Petty was standing outside talking to his ex-girlfriend when a gunshot was fired from inside the apartment, hitting him in the chest. He was immediately taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition but unfortunately passed away the next morning.
