Jeffery L. Gary, a 56-year-old male from Findlay, Ohio, tragically passed away on February 11, 2018. He was found shot to death inside a home on Fox Street in Findlay. The incident occurred early in the morning, and Hanco EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.
Following an investigation, multiple suspects were identified and arrested in connection with Gary's death. Rudy Moya, 31, and Ishmael Moya, 27, both from Toledo, were implicated in the shooting.
Rudy Moya pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter with a gun specification and aggravated burglary, receiving a 17-year sentence. Ishmael Moya also pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter with a gun specification and was sentenced to 14 years in prison. Additionally, Jayden Mark Edwards, 25, was sentenced to nine years in prison for his involvement. Another individual, Delfino Edwards, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and aggravated burglary and was awaiting sentencing.
The case involved a plea deal with the Hancock County Prosecutor's Office, and the sentences for the convicted individuals were mandatory, with no eligibility for early release. The investigation revealed that multiple suspects confronted Gary and shot him during the incident.
