On October 29, 2016, in Toledo, Ohio, 3-year-old African American male, Ty-Ryne Lamarr Hoskins, was tragically shot and killed in his home. The incident occurred around 1 p.m. on the 100 block of Rockingham Street near Cherry Street. Authorities reported that a 7-year-old child accidentally discharged a firearm, resulting in a fatal gunshot wound to Ty-Ryne's torso. Despite immediate medical attention, Ty-Ryne was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
