On February 12, 2016, 15-year-old Kaleb Xavier McKinley White, a male of African American ethnicity from Columbus, OH, tragically passed away at Grant Medical Center after being shot near Barnett Road and East Livingston Avenue. The incident occurred when a black Chevy Impala drove by and someone inside the vehicle opened fire, hitting Kaleb. He was with two other teens at the time, and both were also injured in the shooting.
