Dontai Lamar Davis Rheubottom, a 33-year-old Black man, was killed on August 19, 2015, in a triple homicide at the Shaker Square Apartments in Whitehall, Ohio, just east of Columbus. Rheubottom was one of three people fatally shot at the apartment complex in the 4700 block of Olde Bailey Way near South Hamilton Road. The other victims were 51-year-old Kimberli Alston and 32-year-old Charles Fischer. Investigators found the victims at the complex and began treating the deaths as a connected homic ...
