Larry Demetrius Axel, a 39-year-old Black male from Dayton, Ohio, was tragically murdered on June 16, 2015. He was found shot to death in an alley near the 3700 block of West Third Street in Dayton. The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office determined that he had been shot multiple times and pronounced him dead at the scene. This incident marked Dayton's 10th homicide of the year at that time.
