Darren Lamont Harmon, a 47-year-old African American man from Springfield, Ohio, tragically died on July 31, 2014. He was found lying in a grassy area near his apartment complex at 1024 E John Street, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to Springfield Regional Medical Center, Harmon succumbed to his injuries. Before passing away, he managed to make a brief statement to the authorities.
